The female character was an adaption from Yuree Kensaku’s painting 1 from her collections presented at the Art Center of Chulalongkorn University- which debates whether asserting opinions and protesting in a peaceful manner could be possible amid the widespread violence on Earth. Seems to be a pipe dream, but it has happened in real life. Yuree’s research shows the story of Spanish prostitutes staging a protest against the loan policy that threatened bankers, refused to offers the service to bankers unless they were giving a loan- proves the idea of trading sexual activities and pleasure as a neogtiation tool with men instead of violence. She was also inspired by an ancient story of warriors asking wives and daughters to put on metal undergarments as a protection from rape and prevent unfaithfulness.

This sculpture presents a cat-lady creature in metal. Cat symbolizes femininities, delicate, charming and mischevious; yet, they are also wild and independent. This character shows disobedience and seductions, as well as exploiting female sexuality as a weapon to fight against masculine power in real-life situations.

สาวน้อยคนนี้กำเนิดมาจาก painting 1 ในsetผลงานที่ยุรีเคยแสดงที่หอศิลป์วิทยนิทรรศจุฬาลงกรณ์ งานแสดงกลุ่มครั้งนั้นพูดถึงประเด็นการแสดงความเห็น และการประท้วง ด้วยสันติวิธีว่าสามารถเกิดขึ้นได้หรือไม่ ในท่ามกลางความรุนแรงทั้งหลายบนโลกใบนี้ ดูเหมือนจะเพ้อฝันแต่ก็มีกรณีที่เคยเกิดขึ้นมาแล้ว ยุรีได้ลองหาข้อมูล เคยพบเรื่องราวของกลุ่มโสเภณีชาวสเปนประท้วงต่อต้านโดยการงดขายบริการให้กับนายแบงค์ หากไม่ทำสัญญาการกู้เงินให้ เรื่องในมุ้งถูกนำมาใช้ในการต่อรองกับเพศชาย ผนวกกับยุรีได้แรงบันดาลใจ พบเรื่องราวในสมัยโบราณที่นักรบออกไปรบและให้ภรรยาและลูกสาวสวมใส่กางเกงในเหล็กเพื่อป้องกันการถูกชำเรา หรือรวมไปถึงการกลัวภรรยาของตนเองนอกใจ

ผลงานชิ้นนี้มีลักษณะยั่วยวนปนขัดขืนอยู่ในที พูดถึงสถานะทางเพศ ความรุนแรง รวมถึงการต่อรองของอำนาจต่างๆด้วยลักษณะหน้าตาที่น่ารัก สดใส

Here comes the Lady Key appears in the painting. In the current situation, the Lady Key still uses soft power.  She “get up and run” run with Hamtaro.

These symbolize the movement and heading into the new frontier that mixes the creativity of the fight for democracy.
