HAWAI’I TRIENNIAL | 2022

Yuree Kensaku is one of 43 international artists who are invited to be part of Hawai‘i Triennial 2022 (HT22). Her two large murals from Atmosfear project, are selected to be part of this large event and displayed at Honolulu Museum of Art, Hawaii from February 18 – May 8, 2022

ATMOSFEAR is a the biggest site-specific painting installation that Yuree transformed 100 Tonson space into her own world in 2016. It’s inspired by a special dimension oozing with malicious energy, called Makuu Space, that appeared in the Japanese tokusatsu superhero series, Space Sheriff Gavan. The term then became a colloquial Thai word used to describe awkward or uncomfortable situations.
